May 2007 - The Look Book, Volume 1 wins Best in Show!
>On Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at the Foil Stamping & Embossing Association's annual Gold Leaf Awards ceremony, Phoenix Color's Look Book Volume 1
was named Best In Show! The book also took home the Gold award in its category for Catalog & Capabilities Brochure.

May 2007 - Phoenix Color consolidates Book Component Buildings
>The Book Component Division has completed its consolidation to Phoenix Technology Park. The two buildings
(540 Western Maryland Parkway & 101 Tandy Drive) have been combined to achieve the status of being the largest sheet
fed operation under one roof in the United States. Thanks to everyone for your patience and cooperation during this consolidation process!

January 10, 2006 - Phoenix Color promotes its Dry Trapping capabilities.
> Phoenix Color's Component Facility has been utilizing the Dry Trapping process for the last
25 years. Dry Trapping is created when a solid area of metallic ink if put down and sets to dry
for 24 hours, creating a foundation of metallic color. When the ink is printed over, a metallic
sheen is created without the darkened, muddy effect that may result when the process is done with
one pass through the press. Dry Trapping is an economical alternative to printing on a solid, foil

>This year Phoenix Color joined up with The Kiwanis Club of Hagerstown for their annual Rose Day Fundraiser,
which helps raise money for needy children in Hagerstown. The money that is raised goes towards gifts such
as shoes, clothing and books for kids that may not be able to afford them otherwise. Phoenix Color is proud

> Phoenix Color has launched its Technology Division to address the technological needs of the publishing community.
The Technology Division's objective is to serve the industry with innovative useful technology. The Phoenix Color
Technology Division can provide multiple services to publishers and printers as follows:
(1)Digital Asset Management including Media Beacon Software, access to files in house or online, technical
support, training and configuration.
(2)File and PDF creation including Dalim Swing Software along with training, support and configuration and also
training for all supported pre-press applications, such as, Quark, Photoshop, etc.).
